Russian banks were allocated RUB 8 billion to reimburse shortfall in income from SME loans

The Russian Government has allocated to the Ministry of Economic Development (Ministry of Economic Development) 8 billion roubles for the provision of subsidies to banks to compensate for shortfalls in income from loans to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed people.

"Allocate budgetary allocations in the amount of 8 billion rubles to the Ministry of Economic Development from the reserve fund of the Russian government to provide subsidies from the federal budget to Russian credit organizations and specialized financial societies to compensate their shortfall in income on loans issued in 2019-2024 to small and medium enterprises and individuals who apply the special tax regime "Professional Income Tax" at a reduced rate," the document, published

Funds are allocated for achievement of result on giving credits for small and medium business and self-engaged employers in amount not less than 530 billion rubles within the national project "Small and medium business and support of individual entrepreneurial initiative". Targeted and efficient use of funds will be monitored by the Ministry of Economic Development.
