Pacific Fisheries Company (Tikhrybkom) has signed a contract with the Turkish shipyard Tersan to build a trawler-processor.

The length of the future vessel will exceed 90 meters and speed will be over 15 knots. It is supposed to employ up to 111 people. The trawler will have Ice3 ice class.

The developer will be Norwegian bureau Skipsteknisk AS.

The vessel will be used for trawling fishing and processing pollock, herring, aubergine herring and horse mackerel in the fishing areas of the Pacific Ocean. The trawler factory will process up to 450 tones of products per day and produce fresh-frozen fish, fillets, minced meat, pollack caviar, fish meal and fish oil.

Tersan shipyard has several orders from fish producers in Russia. Now, for example, the trawler "Vasily Limanov" for the Russian Fishery Company and the trawler Georgy Meshcheryakov for Okeanrybflot are being completed on the water.
