"Even despite the existence of a large number and variety of satellite TV channels, the popularity of VOD platforms, which are active partners of Odin-Media, has also increased in Russia. Some of the largest Russian streaming services are OKKO and IVI platforms, with which Odin-Media has been cooperating since 2015. During this time more than 90% of Odin-Media's catalogue items have become available to IVI and OKKO users", said the company's representative.

Foreign streaming services

Cooperation with foreign streaming services began in 2016, when US platform Netflix acquired the rights to show the project co-produced with its partners, German company Looks Film & TV productions - a historical and biographical documentary film "The History of Free Cuba". In 2018, another collaborative project was adapted specifically for Netflix - the military documentary "The Age of Tanks".

Since 2017, Odin-Media began working with another American streaming giant - the Amazon Video platform. Last year, users of Amazon Prime North America were able to watch the Russian feature film "History of One Destination" and Russian feature series - "Secret City" (a project in the urban fantasy genre, based on a series of novels by a famous Russian science fiction writer, About "secret" Moscow, a parallel reality, where there are representatives of long-gone Earth civilizations, which formed the Great Houses of powerful magicians) and "Fathers" (a dramatic story about how four intrepid loving fathers decide to find their daughters, kidnapped by radical Islamists from Libya).

The streaming service bought the rights to show two docudramas this year: "Urartu. The Forgotten Kingdom" and "Shchelkin. Godfather of the Atomic Bomb" - a film biography of one of the main creators of atomic and hydrogen bombs, Kirill Ivanovich Shelkin.
