Labor productivity of radiologists in Moscow has been doubled

The reorganization of the radiation diagnostics system in Moscow has allowed to double the productivity of radiologists. In addition, it helped to reduce the time of preparation of the conclusion by 75% and ensured uninterrupted radiation examinations of metropolitan patients. This was stated at the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS Plus countries in St. Petersburg by the chief freelance specialist in radiation and instrumental diagnostics of the Moscow Department of Health Yuri Vasiliev. His words are quoted by the press service of the city government."The Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine has implemented a new format for the operation of the radiation diagnostics system, which in international practice is called telemedicine, and in Russia is called the reference center," Vasiliev said.

According to him, the time for preparing the conclusion has now been reduced by 75% - from 27 hours to 6.5 hours.

Radiation diagnostics can identify a number of diseases, including COVID-19, signs of osteoporosis of the spine, aortic aneurysm, stroke and others.
