Up to a 100 Moscow exporters will be able to take part in a new communication project to raise awareness and promote russian export worldwide. The organizers are the Moscow Export Center (MEC), subordinated to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development of Moscow, and the Made in Russia export platform.

As Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina explained, Made in Russia platform will create an electronic profile of the company for each project participant, which will be available in nine languages (English, Chinese, Danish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish), which will help to promote the brand, as well as search for new partners and audience abroad.

In addition, the project participants will develop a common corporate identity for participation in business forums, regional events and presentations to increase product recognition on the market.

The project will also include companies in special electronic and paper catalogues in nine languages, which will be sent to trade missions of Russia abroad.

"We highly appreciate the opportunities that Moscow companies will get from participation in the communication project "Made in Russia", and that's why we decided to become partners with Roscongress and VEB Ventures. Moscow Export Center will compensate all expenses for participation in the program for 100 companies. Entrepreneurs will be selected by an expert commission," added Alexey Fursin, Head of the Department for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development of Moscow.

To participate in the programme, an organization must have been registered in Moscow for at least six months, there are no tax debts, and more than half of the company's employees must work in the capital. Additional criteria may include: regular export activities, the presence of its brand, logo, corporate identity, a website with useful information about the activities and news of the company, as well as experience of participation in international events.

You can apply for participation in the IEC from 2 to 31 March by filling in the export readiness questionnaire and preparing a simple package of documents and application form.

"Moscow's participation in the Made in Russia national brand project is for us the most important point of development and the beginning of the project's scaling at the federal level. The efficiency of the Moscow Export Center and the concentration of more than 43% of Russia's total exports in Moscow give us the opportunity to significantly increase the efficiency of the project, as well as to expand the pool of participating companies. We expect to attract at least 10 new regions by the end of the year through the implementation of the first large-scale regional project", - said Mikhail Sadchenkov, General Director of the national brand project "Made in Russia".

For reference:

The Moscow Export Center was established by the Moscow Government. It works with entrepreneurs in the field of financial and non-financial measures to support and promote the products of the capital's manufacturers to foreign markets on a single window principle. One of the key tasks of the Moscow Export Center is to maintain the leadership of Moscow in terms of export volumes among Russian regions and increase the base of existing and potential Moscow exporters.

"Made in Russia" is the first communication project to promote exports, business and culture, including international media, "Made in Russia" logo and industry catalogues. By participating in the project, placing the "Made in Russia" logo on your products, advertising materials and websites, you become a part of the collective promotion of exports, business and culture of Russia.
