The Cabinet of Ministers of Russia, together with the government of the Khabarovsk Territory, will ensure that an industrial cluster for the production of building materials is set up in the region. Such order was given by Vladimir Putin.

"The Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the government of Khabarovsk Territory to ensure the creation on the territory of Khabarovsk Territory of an industrial cluster for the implementation of projects for the production of building materials and construction works, ensuring the formation of demand for such materials and works by major consumers, including open joint stock company "Russian Railways", as well as organizations engaged in construction and reconstruction of roads", - the Kremlin website says.

It may be recalled that in early September, Putin announced a shortage of construction materials in the Far East. According to him, they "should be imported for hundreds or even thousands of kilometers. In this regard, the president instructed to prepare a proposal to establish a construction cluster in the Khabarovsk region, and also called to multiply the production of building materials in the Far Eastern Federal District.
