Mikhail Sadchenkov, General Director of Made in Russia, took part in the opening of the exhibition of products of the world famous domestic enterprises of folk arts and crafts (HCA) and launched the "Yolka" project.

The exhibition will run in the World Trade Centre in Moscow for two days, from 18 to 20 October. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the works of world-famous enterprises: the Association "Gzhel", Gusev crystal factory, Zhostovo factory, "Khokhloma painting", the factory "Fedoskino", "Zlatoust engraving" and others.

The main mission of the project is to popularize Russian souvenirs in anticipation of the Year of Folk Culture and Intangible Heritage of Russia's regions that will be held next year.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Liliya Nurgatina, Deputy Director of the Department of Socially Important Goods Industry Development of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ekaterina Ivanova, Head of the Creative Projects Directorate at Roscongress, and Kosta Kadzov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Folk Arts and Crafts Association.

Mikhail Sadchenkov, CEO of Made in Russia, pointed out the importance of the development of folk arts and crafts projects, as they are primarily "investments in the development of the country".

"Therefore, I believe that the strategy to promote nationally-oriented business has great prospects for the future. Folk arts and crafts are the embodiment of the "Made in Russia" brand concept, we are glad to support and take an active part in its creation and promotion," Sadchenkov said.

The visitors will have an opportunity to learn more about domestic enterprises and get acquainted with gifts, souvenirs and other products of folk arts and crafts.

The organizers of the exhibition are the Trade House "RK-Native Arts Crafts", the Production Center "RK-ART" and SC "Folk Arts Crafts". The official partner of the exhibition is the Roscongress Fund.

The next year in Russia was declared the Year of Folk Arts and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Peoples of the Russian Federation. Themed festivals, meetings, cultural projects for adults and children will be held all over Russia.
