Non-waste prefabricated reinforced concrete factory opened in Togliatti

Florkon Reinforced Concrete Plant opened a new complex for non-waste production of prefabricated reinforced concrete products for industrial construction in Togliatti, the Industrial Development Fund reported.

"The new plant will produce up to 28.8 thousand cubic meters per year of reinforced concrete products made of self-compacting concrete: columns, beams, staircases and wall panels. They have a smooth "glossy" surface that requires no further processing. Total investments in plant construction amounted to 750 mln. rubles", - the report says.

The major part of investments is provided by the Industry Development Fund (the loan amounted to 244 mln. rubles under "Development projects" program) and by Fund MONOGOROD.RF (a loan of almost 250 mln. rubles). Among other things, the loans were provided under the guarantee of the Corporation of SMEs in the amount of 345 million rubles.

It is specified that the plant uses an innovative closed cycle technology, which excludes formation of cement dust and dirt. All the waste is recycled, which allows to create a clean production process, safe for the workers and the environment. Besides, the plant is located on the territory of the river port of Togliatti, which makes it possible to ship products by truck, railroad and water transport along the Volga River. The plant has created 129 new high-productive jobs, which contributes to the diversification of the economy of the largest single-industry town in the country.

The plant's products will be supplied to major developers of industrial and warehouse real estate. The first batch of finished products has already been sent to the developer PNK Group, which is building a 135 thousand square metre Ozon logistics hub in Chapaevsk, Samara Oblast. Sellers from all over the Volga Region will be able to deliver goods for sale on the Internet platform here.
