Russian authorities will allocate 1 billion rubles for advanced training of workers and rationalization movement

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree allocating 1 billion roubles for advanced training of workers within the framework of the national project "Productivity of labour".

According to the website of the Ministry of Economic Development (Ministry of Economic Development), the document envisages provision of subsidies to enterprises participating in the national project for advanced training of workers, as well as measures aimed at forming a movement of innovators according to WorldSkills standards. The total amount of funding through 2024 will exceed 1 billion rubles.

"It is important to create conditions to improve the competitiveness of the domestic industry in foreign markets, to help enterprises obtain benchmarks and standards of professionalism demanded in high-tech production. The key development vector in this direction is the revival, encouragement and support of the innovators' movement. That's why we have included it into the National Project", - Andrey Belousov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government who is the curator of the National Project commented.

Hi-Tech boiling points and corporate centres of excellence (COPE) will be opened on the basis of the enterprises participating in the national project. The boiling points will be organized as spaces of collective work, dialogue and experimentation for the development of employees of enterprises through various forms and methods of work with the tasks of rationalization. The KCOPs will become the main bases for transferring WorldSkills methodologies for accelerated vocational training of employees in in-demand competencies.

"At the moment, some enterprises have already undergone a training course for teams of future Hi-Tech boiling points and corporate centres of excellence. At the end of the overall training, a ranking will be formed, according to the results of which 15 teams with the maximum number of points will have the opportunity to open the country's first corporate centers of advanced training and Hi-Tech boiling points," the Ministry of Economic Development explained.

It is expected that by the end of 2024 70 thousand employees will be trained according to WorldSkills standards, another 100 thousand employees will join the ranks of the innovators movement. The best of them will be able to prove their competence as innovators at the annual Innovations and Productivity Cup that will be held in the fall of 2021 in Ekaterinburg.
