Almost 90 companies from Moscow will receive subsidies and grants from the city for 114 million rubles

The government of Moscow has approved 86 applications for subsidies and grants for business at the end of the first application campaign in 2021, the main part of the allocated funds will be received by the capital's exporting companies.

"Every year Moscow expands support of small and medium business, including financial. This year application procedure has been simplified to increase the number of beneficiaries. According to the results of the first commissions subsidies and grants for 114.7 million rubles were approved", - said Alexey Fursin, the head of Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.

As it is specified on the portal of the mayor of Moscow mos.ru, more than 74 million grants will be received by exporters. Companies can get cashback of 10 percent of proceeds from export contracts, but not more than 50 percent of the amount of taxes paid to the city budget. The total amount of export cashback cannot exceed 10 million roubles.

About 26 million rubles of grants are allocated to the companies working under the franchise for compensation of expenses on public utilities or lump sum payments. Besides, 1,8 million rubles will be received by the enterprises which are promoting the products through food delivery services. They will be able to use the city's subsidy to repay the aggregator's commission for placing products.

Another four companies will receive 1.3 million rubles in subsidies for exporters. The money will compensate different types of expenses when delivering their products abroad - transport, patents and certificates, product adaptation and certification, as well as certification of the production management systems. Applications worth three million rubles have been approved for three companies operating in the priority sector. The companies will cover the costs of purchasing equipment and paying for utilities.

"Technopark residents and participants of Moscow innovation cluster also benefited from the city support. Subsidies for the total amount of 5,3 million rubles will make it possible to compensate expenses for equipment purchase. One more company will receive 700 thousand rubles for compensation of commission expenses at promotion of the goods on marketplaces. Besides, Moscow businessmen will compensate expenses for participation in exhibition - subsidies in the amount of 2,45 million rubles are approved for them". The authorities report.

According to the mayor's office, over three thousand businessmen received subsidies and grants in total for 2020. The total amount was over three billion rubles.
