Skolkovo IT cluster resident receives 40 million rubles in funding

Rerums, a resident of the Skolkovo IT cluster, received a loan of 40 million rubles. The company is the largest developer of a digital platform for home improvement in Eastern Europe.

Financing for the organization was provided by SME Bank.

According to Rerums CEO Dmitry Borisov, the investment in the development of the platform is associated with the subsequent digitalization of housing improvement processes. The pandemic situation, he said, has influenced changes in consumer preferences and shifted the focus of consumption of services and choice of goods online.

"The home improvement industry itself will be one of the main beneficiaries of the change, as comfortable and convenient housing becomes a key need for anyone, and the industry benefits from the shift in consumer spending," he said, adding that the company expects to solidify its market leadership position and develop its own IT solutions based on the latest technologies, including 3D modeling and big data, thanks to the funding.
