Gironov Research and Production Enterprise together with the resident of Technopolis Moscow has developed a high-precision gyroscope for drones.

Such a device is an integral part of the inertial system of a drone, which is necessary for spatial orientation and stabilization of the drone. Also, the equipment can be used to control the trajectory of unmanned vehicles when the satellite signal is lost. The development is distinguished by higher accuracy and low noise.

The head of the startup expects the device to become an import substitute in the segment of microelectromechanical angular speed sensors, in which at the moment more than 50% of products are made by foreign manufacturers.

At present, although such sensors are produced in the country, they are often used only within the production chain of large corporations, i.e. they are not sold freely. The new development should change this situation as it addresses the open market.
