Lighting Technologies Group, the largest manufacturer of modern, energy-efficient lighting solutions in Russia and the CIS, has developed and released bactericidal irradiators for indoor air and surface disinfection.

"We are pleased to present a new product: germicidal irradiators from the Lighting Technologies company. The idea of adding a new product category to the range has emerged before, and certain steps have already been taken to develop it. Now, against the background of the fight against coronavirus infection and increasing requests for such solutions, we have completed the development process and put the germicidal irradiators into production," said Dmitry Nalogin, President of Light Technologies.

He specified that the line of new devices includes three germicidal irradiators of different types: OBN LITE, OBN PRO and a supernew product - ANTIBIOTIC LED lamp with a complete bactericidal air recirculator "on board". The light part of a device is realized on LGP-technology that gives absolutely uniform illumination and simultaneously allows to minimize height of the device.

Use of ultra-violet irradiators requires strict observance of safety measures, excluding possible harmful influence on the person of ultra-violet radiation, ozone and vapor of mercury.

OBN LITE

OBN LITE is an open type germicidal irradiator capable of achieving maximum effectiveness in disinfecting indoor air and surfaces. The wavelength of the UV lamps is 254nm (15W or 30W). Capacity of devices varies from 25m3 / h to 200m3 / h, depending on the type and number of lamps and the cleaning requirements of a particular room. This device is suitable for disinfecting production facilities, warehouses and other premises where UV treatment can be performed in the absence of people. During processing of the room presence of people is not allowed, do not look at the lamp without safety glasses.

OBN PRO

The OBN PRO combined type germicidal irradiator can be used with the protective grid and with the lamp in an open position. The efficiency of the units (2x30W) also varies between 25m3/h and 200m3/h. Illuminators design, with observance of operating requirements, allows to use them for any public facilities, schools, offices, hospitals. Including the allowed operation of the device in rooms with the constant presence of people in the case when the device is used in a closed form. The presence of people in the room is not allowed when the open-type irradiator is switched on.

ANTIBIOTIC LED

ANTIBIOTIC LED is a LED illuminator combined with a sealed bactericidal recirculator. The device provides disinfection of indoor air due to the active convection through the device, bactericidal treatment occurs in the recirculation chamber due to the use of ultraviolet lamps (2x15W). Capacity of recirculator is about 50m3/h, depending on the type and number of lamps.

The luminous part realized on LGP panel technology with face illumination provides even illumination of the diffuser. Indication of UV mode operation is performed by means of indicator diode on the front side of the device.

The design of the lamp with a closed bactericidal recirculator allows using it in any public facilities, including the device is allowed to work in rooms with the constant presence of people. When operating the germicidal recirculator in the presence of people should be limited in time.

Help in the fight against COVID-19

International Lighting Technologies Group is also involved in the construction of a fast-track infectious disease hospital to house patients with suspected coronavirus and to treat those sick near the village of Golohvastovo in New Moscow. The company is supplying lighting equipment to this significant facility.

And safety and stability at the site during an emergency situation will provide our emergency lighting fixtures, which meet all requirements and regulations, "- clarified the president of the company Dmitry Nalogin.

He added that a large number of medical institutions across the country have already been equipped with the company's lighting fixtures, including those in which the patients with suspected coronavirus are placed.
