IEOS, a developer and manufacturer of integrated thermal imaging modules, increased spending on research in its field by 17% from RUB 11.8 million in 2017 to RUB 13.8 million in 2019. In the last two years, the share of new or upgraded goods, works and services was about 90%.

"IEOS" spending on research and development in the last three years: 2017 - 11.8 million rubles, 2018 - 10.4 million rubles, 2019 - 13.8 million rubles. The company has also seen a significant increase - by 76% - in the percentage of goods, works and services that were new to the organization or underwent significant technological changes in the total volume of shipped products, performed works and rendered services for the last three years: 2016 - 14%, 2017 - 48%; 2018 - 90%," said the company representative.

He specified that the recently upgraded products include: thermal imaging module based on 640x480 Gen2 matrix, which has higher sensitivity, with compensation of thermal artifacts, as well as a module to which it is possible to connect various microdisplays, video interfaces, as well as set up remote temperature measurement.

At the same time, IEOS is engaged in patenting its developments. Thus, in May 2018, the organization received a patent for the invention "Thermal imaging module" with an exclusive right valid until March 2037.

Plans of the company

In the near future, IEOS company intends to start creating intelligent thermal imaging and thermal-tele cameras with the functions of recognizing people, animals and various objects for application in the security system of the city and transport infrastructure on a new processor unit.

"For this purpose we need to increase our customer base and partners in a highly specialized market segment. We also need additional access to pilot sites and the opportunity to talk about our product to scientific organizations and manufacturers' organizations. As a participant of the Moscow innovation cluster, we hope to find connections, budgets, opportunities, and other resources for exponential growth faster," specified the company's representative.

IEOS also intends to actively develop the export direction. To date, the company has recorded a significant increase in the share of exports in the total volume of shipped products, work performed and services rendered: by 37.5% in 2016, 1.92% in 2017 and 19.09% in 2018. The company's management plans to increase trade and export turnover by 50%. Now the annual export turnover is about 12 million rubles.
